Caryophyllene Oxide has a sweet, woody aroma and is mainly found in lemon balm and geranium. It is the product of the oxidation of Caryophyllene. Furthermore, it’s the component responsible for cannabis identification by drug-sniffing dogs. Caryophyllene Oxide only has a few known medical benefits.
